http://www.sezwho.com/demo.php, making heroes of online contributors. It basically profiles a contributer by all his contributions made online and creates a rated profile for others to assess their credibility.
http://www.hulu.com/, an interesting venture by Fox and NBC getting TV for free on the web. On the other hand there are TV search engines been created on the Web. Don't really think the guys want to match the mediums for content, they'd rather just watch it there!

Another mish mash in the telecom industry, cyworld a social networking site was started by SK Telecom, a leading telecom company in S.Korea. Nokia on the other hand have made similar investments with Ovi and Mosh and infact so did google with Zingku, a mobile social network and Nokia also bought Navteq, a mobile navigation provider ... telecom provider, equipment maker, media company, internet company, search engine ..well they all seem to be going the same direction ..getting 'social' services on their platter!

Imagine'07... an interesting gathering by microsoft in Paris claiming that it would gather a sizeable proportion of the global advertising spent through its investements in web technologies .. a BW article 'Microsoft the Media King' does the job explaining how the company is transforming for the new age!
OK, Infosys is finally blogging .. I met one of their research team a year back when we were exploring corporate blogging for the Indian Technology company. There seems to be enough online advertising behind the property, like the banner on business week that got me here.
The company though exemplifies a little lack of originality by playing upon Friedman's book 'The World is Flat' that talks a lot about Infosys. The firm wants to grab every inch of brand equity it can garner in a world where outsourcing is already becoming passe.

Martina talks of this great campaign done by mini in her blog adverblog, I completely buy the campaign but fail to understand how it would create enough buzz to reach out to a justifiable audience..sometimes it remains as a marketers chatter ..only time will tell with this one!
